UNIX is the most popular multiuser, multitasking operating system widely used in the industry. Unix is the operating system of choice for medium and high-end servers and business applications.

Course Objectives

You gain a comprehensive introduction to the Unix operating system. The aim is to introduce delegates to practical Unix Administration. At the end, participants would have gained practical skills - use Unix commands and files, create simple Unix shell scripts.

Pre-requisites

An urge to excel and to kick-start a career course in practical Unix. Although NO prior Unix knowledge is required, but a working knowledge of computers/IT might be useful.
